Casa Afuera is a new one, very modern and comfortable furnished Holiday home for two on a beautifully situated plot in the midst of wild, romantic nature. In front of the holiday home there is an enchanting 180° Atlantic panorama with infinite play of colours and picturesque sunsets and during the day, the sunset invites the 5×3 m pool with cosy sun terrace, surrounded by a colourful flowering garden for a relaxing holiday on La Palma.

After 2 years of construction and design, the modern, light-flooded Casa Afuera 2024 opened its doors to holidaymakers who love comfort, straightforwardness and cosiness. The holiday home is located together with the equally new Casa Alegría in La Punta, on the centre west coast of La Palma. You will find more details on the situation further down in the text.

With one bedroom each, both holiday homes were designed for 2 holiday guests, who can expect peace and quiet and private relaxation surrounded by greenery. The particularly beautiful, sweeping views of the sea and the surrounding coastal landscape can be enjoyed not only from the pool, garden and terrace, but also from the living room and bedroom.

Interior - Rooms & Design:
The Casa Afuera surprises at 65 square metres of living space with a generous feeling of space, as the owners deliberately opted for The high wooden gabled ceilings, which are actually predominantly found in traditional Canarian architecture, and the despite their appreciated ambience are rarely built these days due to the additional expertise, materials, time and costs involved.

Furthermore, the house is divided into only 3 rooms.
The bedroom has a 1.60 metre wide double bed, quality mattress, wardrobe, sea view window and opaque curtains;
The bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin, WC and window to the rear;
'The main living space' for cooking, eating, switching off & relaxing: an airy, bright room with small & large windows facing south, east and west, selected furniture and a convincing colour concept; divided into a chic living area with cosy designer armchairs, bookshelf & smart TV, a dining area with breakfast bar and really comfortable bar stools and an open kitchen that shines visually with bright fronts and in terms of content with extensive equipment.

The electricity - including for the pool pump and heating - is generated sustainably via a solar system (out of sight of the guests, of course), thanks to the sun-drenched location.

Outdoor area - your private oasis:
directly in front of the house a partly open, partly covered terrace with dining table, comfortable chairs and
    additional deckchairs
a private garden that is busy growing and flourishing and is already a marvellous duet of
   bright colours and exotic fragrances
the infinity pool (5x3m) with magnificent sea views and Sun terrace right next door
    and one
 shady pergola with sun loungers; pool heating is included in the daily price

Last but not least, a perfect connection to the hiking network, as the property borders on the nearby
   the GR130 circular hiking trail, which leads to the highest point of the island at Roque de los Muchachos
   but also leads down to the sandy beach of Puerto de Tazacorte.

Behind the house is an annex where the washing machine is located for your exclusive use.
The neighbouring holiday home Casa Alegría is not in sight and is built in such a way that both houses enjoy good privacy. For example, the neighbouring terrace is not visible, and the pool (Afuera) and hot tub (Alegría) are also separate from each other.
Each house has a total of around 500 square metres of its own private garden area.
The friendly landlords, who also speak German and English, have their house at the very end of the long, rectangular property. They are there for you on request or when needed, but otherwise stay in the background; that goes without saying! 🙂

location:
La Punta is the first 'place' that officially belongs to the north-west and is part of the municipality of Tijarafe, but from a climatic point of view it belongs to Tazacorte. Due to this year-round warm and sunny climate, the lower parts of the coast are home to banana plantations, for example.
The house itself is located slightly above the LP1 country road, which can be neither hears nor sees! Dhat we say after seeing it for ourselves.

The good thing is that you are still within walking distance of the small town centre of La Punta, which has a supermarket (Cooperativa), a German bakery par excellence, a corner shop, various bars and a local restaurant (simple, but fresh dishes every day for a small price). The nearest medical centre is in Tijarafe or Los Llanos, which is not much different. The nearest sandy beach is in Puerto de Tazacorte, a 10-minute drive away. The nearest petrol stations are in Puntagorda or in the Pueblo de Tazacorte.

You can start your hikes in the beautiful, peaceful nature of the island right behind the house!
