Travel planning

Good travel planning is also an advantage if you are travelling to a destination that is not far away and not exotic. It saves stress and unpleasant surprises. We would of course like to support you in this, because you already know our motto: With us, the holiday begins at the moment of planning! The first step is always to narrow down your budget and your flight connections. Determine your budget separately for flights and accommodation. Divide the accommodation budget by the number of days of your holiday, then you will know which daily price is suitable for you. All of our accommodation is clearly displayed in the overview window. Please note: If there is a starting price or final cleaning, but also if you would like a heated pool, for example, these costs are not reflected in the daily price shown in the overview. Once you have made a pre-selection, click on the detailed view of the accommodation (simply click on the image or in the box) and look in the right-hand column under „Prices and rental conditions“. Here you will find any seasonal prices listed as well as possible one-off final cleaning costs, but also extras payable on site such as optional pool heating. Calculate the total price according to your wishes and compare it with your budget! Note: Most accommodation on La Palma still has a standardised annual price.

A weekend on La Palma

A weekend is probably not enough to really get to know the island, but it is a good opportunity to discover it. Usually one or two weeks are best.

La Palma offers you its Beaches or bathing places where you can often find fish restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish from the island or a good avocado salad.
It also offers spectacular walks between gorges, with views of the sea and mountains. Find bargains in the city or visit their Museums.
We must always remember that scientists from all over the world, who live and work on the island, observe the universe in the observatory of the Roque de los Muchachos, which makes the pleasures of the Lovers of astronomy ...is the difference.

Day one: An excursion with the Car from Santa Cruz. Make a mini-stop for a barraquito (coffee with milk and liqueur) at the church of Las Nieves, observe the colonial architecture and climb to the top of the island where scientists discover new planets. Drive down through Garafia and enjoy the view of the most natural and wildest island.

Day two: Drive down to the south of the island to reach the last active volcanoes, visit the museum of the Teneguia volcano and continue discovering the island's salt mines, where you can take a dip and enjoy a good island fish with „papas arrugadas“. Take a look at the Restaurants on our website.

A week or more on the island.

Apart from that, you can make the most of your holiday with an extra like a Tour for the observation of the marine fauna, a Mountain bike tour through the ashes of the volcano, a flight Paraglider or a short tour to the Diving under the waters of the island.
