Casa Mariposa

The holiday home Casa Mariposa is a well-equipped, very cosy holiday home.
With 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen and 1 completely modernised shower room (2024), it is perfect for a couple or a small family. The property is located on a residential road with no through traffic and is "walled in" all around.
The terrace offers a wonderful view of the sea.

Changes were made to the house at the end of 2023. A room with a completely new bathroom was added, but the rear part of the house (1 room that was previously closed off and the old bathroom) was separated off.

Rooms / equipment:
The glass entrance door leads directly into the living room, which has two comfortable sofas and a large flatscreen TV with satellite/smart TV.

The kitchen is separate and is very well equipped, including a dishwasher and gas hob. There is a door from the kitchen to the outside.

The master bedroom offers a French bed (150 x 200cm), a dressing table and a large wardrobe as well as baby equipment if required. A patio door leads to the pool terrace, where you can do yoga in the morning 😉.

The second bedroom has two single beds and a chest of drawers.

The new bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, WC, bidet and washbasin.

Outdoor area / garden:
Here you will find an outdoor kitchen with brick barbecue, a large seating area and various smaller seating areas, garden area including a few fruit trees; also a parasol & 2 sun loungers.
The pool is small, ~ 3x3m, but on hot days when you're not on the beach, the cool refreshment it offers is worth its weight in gold.

The washing machine is freely available in an annex or small garden shed.

location:
Located between Los Llanos and El Paso on the west side of La Palma at only 400 metres above sea level.

It is about a 5-minute drive to Los Llanos, 2 minutes to the restaurants of Celta and about 12 minutes to the beaches of Charco Verde (20 minutes) and Puerto de Tazacorte.

Los Llanos is regarded as the island's secret capital and, with its pedestrianised zone and beautiful plaza, is always an inviting place for a stroll through the town.

There is a daily market in the market hall where you can buy fresh fish, fruit and vegetables and other local produce.
