The very well-maintained and well-equipped holiday home Casa Rosal is located here, surrounded by a pretty garden plot right next to the impressive Izcagua Gorge.

It is a very comfortable, well-equipped holiday home for 2-4 guests plus a small child, combining its quiet rural location with walking distance to the village. So there's nothing to stop you having a glass of wine or a beer at dinner in the restaurant.

The village and its surroundings also offer an incredibly varied network of hiking trails of all levels of difficulty. The property of Casa Rosal is lined - out of sight - by two smaller hiking trails. So you can start hiking comfortably from the house, if you like.

A rental car is recommended, private parking is available on the property.

The holiday home furnished in country house style offers on nearly 90 square meters pleasantly place in the vacation. During the arrangement, the landlady attached a lot of importance to quality and a harmonious style and thus, in the end, one does not see at all that the house is indeed in Canarian style but quite newly built. In any case, it is a little jewel.

The lovingly tended garden with many fragrant rose varieties, which gave the holiday home its name, and the sea view terrace in front of the living room with a romantic seat under the olive tree are also particularly beautiful.
There is also a comfortable breakfast terrace with morning sun behind the house overlooking blossoms and pine trees and the mountain range further up and to the side of the driveway is a spacious covered lounge area with a brick barbeque, large rustic dining table and outdoor kitchen. Also from here you have a beautiful view towards the sea and sunset.

We mentioned at the beginning that Puntagorda is popular and yet sleepy and relaxed at most times of the day. A real crowd-puller is its weekend market 'Mercadillo', which is open on Saturdays and Sundays and invites you to socialise after shopping with local fruit and vegetables, fresh baked goods and handicrafts as well as music and dancing from time to time.
The Mercadillo is also located on the Izcagua Gorge, only 150m above the holiday home. The strip of forest and the small orange tree plantation that lie between the house and the market ensure that you can walk there comfortably, but otherwise do not notice anything of the weekend hustle and bustle in the house.
