Atico La Palmita

Atico La Palmita is located on the 3rd/top floor, just outside but still within walking distance of the centre of Tazacorte. It was renovated and completely refurbished in July 2022 and welcomes up to 4 guests.

Atico La Palmita is characterised in particular by its tasteful furnishings, the generous room layout and the 160 sqm roof terrace with fantastic views, which can be reached via a stone staircase in the flat. The design talent of the hosts is evident here: shady pergolas, raised wooden plank terraces so that guests can also enjoy the wonderful sea view while seated, many colourful flowering plants and a raised, panoramic glass sun terrace with loungers and a comfortable seating area invite you to enjoy a relaxing stay in a private atmosphere under the La Palma sun.

From the roof terrace you can see the new Tajogaite volcano in the distance, as well as the nearby Tazacorte swimming pool with its large outdoor pool, which is open in the summer months.

The second shower room is located in a superstructure right next to the entrance door to the terrace. The Atico itself would actually only have had one bathroom, but two equivalent bedrooms. So that two couples can also book this wonderful holiday home, the landlords have installed a second full shower room in the former laundry room on the roof terrace.

The house is a u-shaped, three-storey building with a lift. Holiday flats and normal flats are mixed in a good ratio. In the courtyard there is a nice pool area with a large pool and a children's pool. Sun loungers are also available here. Since many prefer to go to the nearby sandy beach, it is rare that you have to share the pool with someone.

Situation:
Tazacorte is located on the sunny west side of La Palma and leads the European statistics of the most sunny hours of the year.
Architecturally, it is a typical Canarian town with beautiful colourful facades, old colonial houses and narrow streets....Below, the strip between the town and the cliffs/sea line is dotted with banana fields. You can walk through these to the cliffs and at one point there are steps down to a wild sandy beach.

In Tazacorte, besides the usual commercial and gastronomic facilities, there is also a banana museum, a library, a petrol station and a municipal swimming pool, which is only open in the summer months.
But you have the long sandy beach of Puerto de Tazacorte in front of your doorstep - with a distance of approximately 2km and a difference in altitude of barely 100m, it is still within walking distance.

Parking is available directly in front of the house. A rental car is only necessary if you also want to explore the island.
