The holiday home Casa Alba Marina is a hidden paradise on the west coast of La Palma, close to the centre of the small, very pretty Canary Island town of Tazacorte. The stylish holiday home only opened its doors to discerning guests at the beginning of 2022. Come on in:
With a main house over two floors and a guest house that is connected via the terrace, Alba Marina has plenty of living space for 2-6 guests. The house is thoughtfully designed so that two people can feel at home and not get lost in an oversized living space.
To the side and towards the sea, an expansive terrace surrounds the house, which invites you to linger under the blue sky with various lounge and sunbed furniture. Protected from view, it is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday when you don't want to go on an excursion.
A special construction is the 12m long and 2m wide "floating" infinity pool, which rises out of the bananas in front of the terrace at the house with a view towards the sea. It can be heated in the winter months thanks to a modern solar system hidden on the guest house and under the terrace. For those who enjoy long swims in the pool, this is an absolute delight.

The design is tasteful, modern and radiates a lot of tranquillity. Original works of art, whether paintings or sculptures, testify to the taste and cosmopolitanism of the hosts and bring that certain lively something into the house.
Wall-high panoramic windows in the living area provide plenty of light and at the same time offer a beautiful view across the pool and the green banana leaves to the sea.
They are equipped with high-tech sun awnings that extend vertically at the touch of a button. This offers the possibility of opening the panorama windows, which can all be slid open, thus connecting the living space openly with the terrace and still regulating the incidence of sunlight. At the same time, they offer fly protection.

Tazacorte is a community of 5,000 inhabitants on the west coast of La Palma and proven to be the sunniest region in Europe, with the villages of Tazacorte Pueblo (small town), Puerto de Tazacorte (harbour and beach) and Costa de Tazacorte, the rural coastal area around the villages. Here the house is hidden and without neighbours, surrounded by small banana plantations. Tazacorte Pueblo is about 1km away. It is popular mainly because of its colourful houses and alleys. Smaller and larger shops, 1 pharmacy, 2 supermarkets, 2 banks, hairdressers and many bars and restaurants make Tazacorte a popular holiday destination on La Palma.
If you are good on foot, you can walk to Tazacorte, even to the beach, which is about 1 km below the centre of the village.
It is only a stone's throw by car. Among other things, the excursion boats for dolphin and whale watching tours leave from the port of Tazacorte. Tickets can be purchased directly at the sales point there. Furthermore, there are numerous restaurants here, mainly with fish and seafood specialities, as well as the adjacent long, dark sandy beach.
