Casa Ricarda - Tazacorte

The holiday home Casa Ricarda is located in the picturesque old town of Tazacorte - about 100 metres from the small promenade, which is lined with several nice restaurants.

Holidaymakers who like to be safe from the sun, warm, relatively close to the beach and have a little bit of life around them generally feel very comfortable in Pueblo de Tazacorte.

The townhouse was carefully and extremely stylishly renovated for its guests in 2024 and now houses a cosy gem for either 1 - 3 adults or for 2 adults and up to 2 children
(1 master bedroom with large double bed + 1 bedroom with single bed + pull-out bed).

A few metres from the house is the promenade with the popular restaurants 'La Marmota', 'ElTipico Italiano' and the Restaurante La Luna (very fresh pasta from the original Italian). Furthermore, there is the noble restaurant 'Rebell' and a new breakfast restaurant.

Walking down the promenade, you come to the footpath to Puerto de Tazacorte, i.e. the beach.
A few metres up the promenade in the other direction and you are already in the town centre with the pretty plaza in front of the town hall. There is a nice kiosk here where you can get a good coffee and various tasty tapas/snacks under frangpani and flamboyants. Behind it are two supermarkets, two bank branches, a post office opposite and a new daytime café with a small flower garden. There is also a pharmacy around the corner.

If you don't want to hire a car, there is a bus stop 5 minutes away with connections to Los Llanos or to the north-west to the hiking areas and small towns of Tijarafe, Puntagorda, etc. every 1/2 hour.

You can reach the long sandy beach of Tazacorte in 2 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot! 

Most of the year, bathing weather is guaranteed here, so you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea after the day's excursions or hikes.

A beautiful beach promenade, which leads to the newly developed harbour, invites you to take a leisurely stroll or go for a morning jog.

In the area of the marina there is a simple snack bar/café (open air) as well as an inconspicuous but very good fish restaurant called "El Varadero" and at the end of the marina, hidden but with an idyllic wooden plank terrace overlooking the sea, the "Kiosko Adrinere" and "El Balcón del Puerto" with a wonderful view.

Back to the house:
You enter the house from the alleyway through a locked door and stands in the beautifully designed inner courtyard, which is cosily and tastefully furnished with high-quality seating and planters. A modern pergola with electric remote-controlled sun/shade regulation - as required - completes the private outdoor area of the Casa Ricarda holiday home.

From the patio, you enter the house at ground level, which has 2 floors of generous living space. On the ground floor are the living room, hallway and open staircase leading upstairs, one of the two shower bathrooms and the bright and beautiful kitchen, which, like the living area, has a patio door, making the kitchen appear even brighter and larger.
On the first floor there are both bedrooms and a further shower room, including a walk-in rainforest shower and toilet. All rooms have windows. 
The master bedroom is wonderfully large and also invites you to relax during the day. Opposite the bed, wide glass doors open onto the small but lovely balcony, which in turn offers a view of some of the old town's rooftops as well as a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean. A comfortable wall unit (long, multi-door wardrobe) and a large flat-screen TV in the corner, which does not take up much space, complete the beautiful room.

In terms of technology, guests have a washing machine, dishwasher, good internet and satellite TV via Smart TV at their disposal.
The landlords have attached great importance to every comfort (including or especially the beds/mattresses).

A hire car is not absolutely necessary, as you can get around a lot on foot, by bus or even by taxi. However, if you want to explore the island and as we still have quite moderate car hire prices here anyway, a hire car would be a good idea. car hire absolutely offer.
