Las Manchitas is located in the heart of the tropical finca and yet undisturbed by the other houses. Green, idyllic, secluded, romantic...these are the attributes we would assign to the cute holiday home Las Manchitas. It looks small from the outside, but inside you are amazed at how spacious it is and how much room there is to move around. We especially like the bedroom - a small, bright oasis with a large bookshelf that invites you to read and relax during the day or to take a nap.

A small path and stairs lead through the garden in a few steps to the pool, which was redone in the summer of 2021.
The landlady, who also has her house well hidden further up on the finca, lovingly and lavishly cares for the huge garden and has conjured up a small oasis of refreshment from the former tank with the now new pool. 

There are no direct neighbours around the finca. It is reached via a longer paved driveway.
The centre of Las Manchas de Abajo is about 1.5 km away and offers the first sight - the Plaza La Glorieta, designed by the famous Palmerian artist Luis Morrera. A pretty round square, the floor of which is decorated with his mosaic art.
Above the plaza is the wine museum and a corner shop with fresh fruit and vegetables as well as bread/rolls and a small selection of groceries (milk, wine, water). There is also a restaurant a few metres from the plaza: El Secadero, which is known for fresh meat specialities and otherwise offers rustic Canarian cuisine. If you drive up the Secadero, you will come to the Canos del Fuego Volcano Visitor Centre, which offers guided tours of the lava caves, among other things. 

The nearest beach, the palm-fringed sandy beach of Puerto Naos, is just under 6 km (12 min drive), and the nearest larger supermarket, the Spar of La Laguna, is 5.6 km (9 min drive).

You can start hiking directly from the finca. Through various paths / hiking trails you can get to Puerto Naos as well as in the mountains. A largely unknown, but very pleasant and interesting way leads over old water galleries through the countryside. The nice thing is that it mainly goes straight ahead.
