Finca Puro Atlantico - Casa Lavan

Casa Lavan is situated on the upper edge of the finca with a view of its terrace, the finca courtyard and the pool. The patio door leads medias in rés into the combined living/dining area and kitchen. A cosy sofa and a TV with satellite channels on one side, a dining table for four and a well-equipped kitchenette on the other fill the room. The bathroom is located between the living room and the bedroom. It has a brick-built double shower and a washbasin with two washbasins. The stylish bedroom has a comfortable double bed which, when the curtains are open, offers a view of the outside through the large patio door. A room separated by palisade walls houses the wardrobes for your holiday wardrobe etc. Casa Lavan offers everything you need on holiday in a manageable space. From October 2023, the accommodation will have air conditioning - a so-called split unit that can be used to cool in summer and heat in "winter".

Exterior:

In front of the house is a large terrace with dining table, sun loungers, large parasol and brick bench. A few metres behind it towards the west/sea is the pool area, also with sun terrace and beautiful sea view.

The finca is in a generally quiet location, at the end of a small residential area with scattered detached houses with gardens. The location is characterised by a very good climate and is therefore very popular with holidaymakers.

Surroundings:

Down to the sea, about 1 km away, the popular and now also reopened restaurant/grill Las Norias invites its spoilt guests to enjoy delicious food in a beautiful ambience. The nearest supermarket, including a bakery, is in the now reopened Puerto Naos, which is 6 km away, about 10 minutes by car. Here is also the nearest, beautiful, palm-fringed sandy beach with 2 cocktail bars (kioscos). Other beaches to the south are the Charco Verde beach cove (2 km from Puerto Naos) and the small fishing village of El Remo, which is a little further away and boasts quirky architecture, good fish restaurants and a wonderful sea breeze.

The newly built lava road leads to the other side of the Aridane valley with its towns of Tazacorte, Los Llanos and El Paso. At the moment it is still a single-lane road and therefore travels at a moderate speed, which requires some patience with a journey time of about 15 minutes. But you can look at the cooled lava masses to the left and right of the road, which is truly a sight not to be seen too often. It now takes about 30 minutes to get to Tazacorte and Los llanos and about 40 minutes to El Paso and the Caldera de Taburiente National Park.

Southeast above the finca are Las Manchas and Las Manchas de Abajo, about 1.5 km away. Here you will find several places of interest, for example the 'Plaza La Glorieta', designed by the famous Palmerian artist Luis Morrera. A pretty round square, the floor of which is adorned with his fantastic mosaic art.
The wine museum is located above the plaza. There is also a restaurant just a few metres from the square: El Secadero, which is known for its fresh meat specialities and otherwise offers rustic Canarian cuisine. If you drive up the Secadero, you will come to the Canos del Fuego volcano visitor centre, which offers guided tours of the lava caves, among other things. 

You can start hiking directly from the finca. You can get to the sea as well as to the mountains via various paths/hiking trails.
