Villa Los Picachos

Villa Los Picachos not only offers its guests an exceptional amount of space on a living area of 140 square metres, but also tasteful furnishings and upscale fittings.

Several large terraces invite guests to spend time outdoors and enjoy the good Palmerian climate in a decidedly sunny spot like this.
Everywhere the eye touches the green of the lush garden world or the blue of the vast Atlantic Ocean.
The roof terrace at the back of the house offers a nice breakfast place.

Interior design:

In the main house, the entrance hall leads off to the left to the bedroom with two single beds and a small utility room, and to the right to the bathroom with ground-level shower. Straight ahead you enter the salon.

The living room is very impressive with its approx. 4 m high ceiling and its complete panoramic front of several patio doors. A designer sofa and chaise longue invite you to relax, even in front of the TV, which you don't really need in a house like this.
On the other side of the expansive room is the large dining table, where you can work on your laptop or plan your next trip.

The kitchen is located to the right of the lounge, in the side wing.

Side wing or flat:
Except in high season, the side wing can be used as an independent flat without the centre section just described.  can be rented. This also explains the two prices shown above. If you only rent the side wing, i.e. the flat, which also has a well-equipped living area plus bedroom with garden view and en-suite bathroom, you will pay 129.00 euros as a couple. You are still the sole tenants of the entire property.

At the sitting bar of the well-equipped kitchen, a staircase goes up to the loft, where two more beds - a single and a French bed - face each other. This could also sleep at least 2 adults, but since the ceiling is low, the host recommends it only for children.

The window of the sleeping gallery opens onto the breakfast roof terrace. To the other side, the gallery has a pretty wooden railing from which you can look down onto the living area.
This is located in a kind of semi-circular bay window with panoramic windows and, like everything else in the Villa Los Picachos holiday home, is stylish and cosy.
An upholstered sofa plus armchair, a table and a large wooden cupboard in which the second flat-screen TV is conveniently "hidden", plus lots of greenery shining in through the windows, make up the pretty ambience.

On the large terrace in front of the other side wing, the Jacuzzi is waiting to pamper guests. With a drink and an unobstructed view of the clear starry sky of La Palma, a holiday day spent in an exciting or interesting way can come to an end in style and relaxation.

Villa Los Picachos is well situated for excursions and activities of all kinds. 

The last 500 m to the house are paved slopes, but easy to drive on and a very small price to pay for a holiday in such an exposed location.
If you decide to take the turning to the right at the top instead of turning left at the bottom through the banana plantations and past the tennis court, in 5 minutes you will reach Las Manchas de Abajo with the pretty Plaza de la Glorieta by the island's famous artist Luis Morrera, to whom the construction of the viewing platform "Mirador de las Estrellas" is currently dedicated, based on his famous mosaic style in El Pinar / Tijarafe.
Here, above the plaza, is also the wine museum and a little further up the volcano museum Canas de Fuego, which regularly offers tours through the lava zone including cave sections. Various hiking trails, for example the island circular trail GR130, pass only about 2km from the house.

Beaches:

The nearest beach is the palm-fringed sandy beach of Puerto Naos, which has been delighting sun worshippers and swimmers again since the summer of 2024. The picturesque sandy bay of Playa Charco Verde is 1.5 km away. Here, swimmers will also find a kiosk with hot and cold snacks and drinks.
The drive to the beach at Tazacorte takes around 20 minutes, as the volcano has cut a wide lava path through the Aridane Valley, and to the Mirador El Time, the start of the picturesque north-west, takes around 35 minutes.
