The holiday home Casa Jardín Tropical owes its name to the lush subtropical garden that surrounds it. 

This is approx. 1000 square metres in size and an absolute highlight for plant lovers, as it offers a great diversity of interesting endemic and subtropical flora, which can be explored via a small network of paths. Native butterflies and birds are colourful companions along the way.

The holiday home is designed for 2 holidaymakers, if necessary for 3, e.g. 2 adults and a large child: 
There are two bedrooms and two shower rooms, each at the other end of the house, with the second bedroom having a sofa bed instead of a bed and is actually mainly used as a retreat/reading area or "office" when occupied by two people. However, the sofa bed is comfortable enough for a third person to sleep on, even if there are two of you but you want to sleep separately.

The holiday accommodation is supplied with renewable energy in the form of a photovoltaic system; naturally with sufficient storage capacity for the evening/night or cloudy days.

In the outdoor area in front of and behind the house, two furnished, cosy terraces invite you to linger undisturbed in the open air. Privacy and security are is guaranteed by the walls around the property. The The entrance is closed with a large wrought-iron gate.

The holiday home itself is individually and tastefully furnished, exudes charm and offers good facilities including fast internet and satellite TV.

At the same time, the location in the heart of the Aridane Valley on the popular west coast of La Palma The hotel is ideally located for all kinds of activities, such as hiking, swimming and city strolls.

On a higher level of the property - visually separated - there is a second house that belongs to the landlords, who also only use it occasionally for their holidays. As a rule, the guests of Casa Jardín Tropical have the large finca to themselves.

Jardín Tropical is situated at an altitude of just 320 metres on the west coast of La Palma, between La Laguna and Tajuya, in the municipality of Los Llanos. Just a few metres above the house is a kind of corner shop, a rarity on La Palma. Guests can pick up bread and rolls, milk and fruit on foot in the morning...
The small town of El Paso, where there are not only museums, a pretty plaza, pharmacies, organic food shops and petrol stations, but also a large, well-stocked supermarket in Hiperdino, is just 6-8 minutes away by car.
The secret "island capital" Los Llanos is also only a 7 or 8 minute drive away and the beaches of Tazacorte and/or Puerto Naos are around 10-14 minutes away. A popular restaurant, the Café Giardino, is very close by up the road, only about 2 minutes drive away and a few metres further on at the new roundabout, where it used to go to Las Manchas, the Sombrero restaurant will soon reopen under new management.
